We have have used Ian plenty of times over the years but this job showed off his skills. Fantastic workmanship. Ian is reliable, honest and adaptable. He created the ensuite, knocking through to spare room, building new area for ensuite, plumbed in shower & all fixtures and sorted out all plumbing to ensure we were ready for the next step. We can't praise Ian's workmanship enough and would most definitely recommend him.

He is very experienced and is not phased by any unforseen challenges. Quickly puts your mind at ease. He takes care and is respectful of your home. And he does great work.

Phoned Ian in the morning with an issue with my Boiler, he called later that day and quickly identified any issues and had the boiler up and running again very quickly. Ian was extremely professional and very friendly and I would have no hesitation in recommending Ian to anyone. Top Man !!!

What is the best Worcester Bosch boiler?

Worcester Bosch’s flagship range is the 8000 life or style. The 8000 range replaced the Cdi Classic Greenstar range in 2020. It has an improved user and installer interface. A stylish modern look and comes with a 12 year parts and labour guarantee from Worcester Bosch. The only condition of the guarantee is that the boiler is serviced once a year and the service record is filled out.

What is the best smart thermostat in 2020?

I’ve personally installed Nest, Tado, Hive, Honeywell Evohome and the Bosch EasyControl. If I was installing a Worcester Bosch boiler I would go for the Bosch EasyControl as it will come under the boilers guarantee of up to 12 years. It will give you weather compensation as an option, as well as the option of purchasing the Bosch EasyControl thermostatic radiator valve heads. The radiator valve heads give you the option of bringing each room in your home on individually like the Honeywell evohome.

What are the benefits of installing an unvented cylinder?

If you’ve got good cold water pressure and flow rate, then you could benefit from the better flow rate of hot water that an unvented hot water cylinder can provide. For instance , if you’d like to run multiple thermostatic showers at the same time in multiple bathrooms. Also an unvented hot water cylinder doesn’t need a cold water storage tank to fill it up, meaning the installation would take up less space overall.
