We’ve used Stuart several times. To fit a rainfall shower and replace kitchen taps. He fitted replacement WC taps and bath and basin drains in the bathroom and en-suite. Stuart is reliable and tidy. The quality of his is brilliant. We’ve never had issues with anything he’s done for us.

He was quick in responding to our call, kept in contact so we knew when he was on his way, explained clearly what the problem was and was helpful and friendly whilst doing the job. What is the Baxi boiler e130 fault / error code?
E130 fault code on a baxi boiler refers to the flue. As with any fault code the customer can try resetting the boiler to clear the fault code. If this doesn’t work and it goes back to fault code e130, then they should check the outside flue terminal isn’t blocked by a bird, or trees etc, and clear it if it is. If that doesn’t work and the boiler still shows E130 after resetting, then call your gas engineer to investigate.
What size boiler do I need? How to choose?
Gas engineers use a few methods to size boilers when doing surveys. If you are requiring a new combi, then we measure the incoming mains water pressure. Combi boiler sizes refer to the amount of hot water it can deal with. If you have a good incoming water main then we need to size the boiler to be able to cope with that main. Otherwise you will have poor hot water performance. If we are surveying for a heat only boiler, then the amount of radiators and their size come into play, along with the load of the hot water cylinder.
When is the best time to service a boiler?
A boiler service should be done every 12 months from being fitted. This is to keep the warranty intact, but mainly to check everything is still working as it should. If you can, the summer months are quieter for gas engineers, so this is a good time to have it done. But as long as you give your engineer enough notice, then they should be able to get you booked in.
